A: Our algorithms are tuned for low and medium quality internet-style pictures. Best results are achieved on indoor portrait or small group photos. In controlled environment (lightning, pose, contrast) results are further improved.

Pictures uploaded by users and published in Betaface galleries will stay on secure servers. Unpublished photos will stay hidden in the image cache and will be removed from the servers with next clean-up cycle. Betaface reserves the right to use photos uploaded in Betaface online demos or other projects for further improvement of performance of Betaface algorithms. Training of algorithms will be handled by automatic offline processes.
