Our projects

Did you know that thanks to our face detection and recognition technology such projects like Simpsonizeme or Face of Windows Server 2008 were possible?

Simpsonizeme

uses Betaface automatic face and facial features detection, special biometric measurements as well as hairstyle and facial hair detection to create resembled Simpson character from real photo. This is the very first fully automatic caricature creation from photo application and a fine example of what biometric technologies can do for entertainment.
Face of Windows Server 2008

used during 2007 Betaface face and facial features detection, face morphing and composite faces creation functionality for building average faces of Windows Server of different countries or professions.
Caricature creation and average faces were only two examples of hundreds of ideas of what can be done with face recognition we have had when we started developing our technology.

From the very beginning our idea was to go outside security borders and provide this technology also for entertainment.

However to make such projects come true, our dedicated and daring partners are what makes them go. If you are one of them, contact us and check out yourself, that what others told you was impossible, we might do.

Some of our online and offline projects:

Simpsonizeme – World’s first automatic caricature creation from a real photo. You can transform yourself into actual Simpson’s character. Developed together with Cortona for Burger King.

Face of Windows Server 2008 – Our technology is employed for face composites creation and face morphing in the project. Developed with Wunderman for Microsoft.

Face capture installation – World’s first fully automated ‘facial-average generator’ which uses a combination of facial-recognition and morphing from Betaface to create average faces of smaller groups: the average vegetarian face, smoker or drinker for example. Developed together with Ico Design for Wellcome Trust

Face photo mosaic creation - Our face detection and smart face cropping technology is employed to prepare image databases for photo mosaic (picture mosaic) creation from differently sized images so that the main focus of each picture is never lost.
